As part of working within the City of Ashland, it is important for contractors to understand the Ashland-specific ordinances that may impact what work can be done within City Limits. Listed contractors reviewed the ordinance items listed below and acknowledged that they are aware of the various ordinances that may impact the work they may be completing in Ashland.

  • I have reviewed Ashland's Prohibited Flammable Plants list, found here: [https://ashlandoregon.gov/323/Prohibited-Flammable-Plants], and acknowledge that landscaping projects within Ashland City Limits must abide by this list.
  • I have reviewed Ashland's Landscaping Requirements for New Home Construction and Additions, found here: [https://ashland.municipal.codes/LandUse/18.3.10.100.B], and acknowledge that landscaping projects within Ashland City Limits must abide by these requirements.
  • I have reviewed Ashland's Landscaping Requirements around New Decks, Additions and Accessory Structures, found here: https:[https://ashland.municipal.codes/LandUse/18.3.10.100.B.2] and acknowledge that landscaping projects within Ashland City Limits must abide by these requirements.
  • Acknowledgement: The City of Ashland requires defensible space standards around new construction (including new homes, home additions, decks >200 square feet) and prohibits the planting of species listed on our Prohibited Flammable Plants List. By checking this box, you acknowledge that you have read and understand Ashland's Wildfire Safety Ordinance components, broken down above, and agree to comply with that ordinance when completing work within Ashland city limits. Noncompliance with this ordinance may result in your business's removal from this list.
