The City of Ashland is working on a B Street corridor safety improvement plan and will be hosting a charrette on June 6, between 5-7pm at the Grove, located at 1195 East Main Street. The primary purpose of the plan is to create a safer, more appealing and community oriented B Street corridor. Enhancements to the B Street corridor have been a longstanding focus of the City of Ashland. Several plans call for enhanced livability by slowing traffic, making it more attractive to people walking, biking, and rolling and addressing parking impacts from downtown.
The plan will utilize community feedback and Transportation Advisory Committee review to develop an implementable set of solutions based on sound engineering to improve the safety of the corridor and align with the City’s multimodal goals.
