Public Input Meeting on potential alternatives to improve safety of travel on Winburn Way through Lithia Park.
Ashland Parks and Recreation will host a public meeting on August 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at The Grove (1195 East Main Street) to gather public input on future travel options for vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians on Winburn Way through Lithia Park. View the Open House materials (PDF)

This meeting will focus on five (5) options being explored that include:
Option 0, No Change
Option 1, Addition of pedestrian dedicated route on road right-of-way
Option 2, One way (southbound/uphill)
- Pedestrian and bike route in road right-of-way (2 way)
Option 3, Addition of speed humps at at-grade crossings
Option 4, Vehicluar closure from the Lithia Bandshell to the Upper Duck Pond
Attend the meeting for more details on the options being explored. If you cannot attend the meeting here is how you can give your input on the options:
- Written public comments can be submitted until September 15 via email.
The next steps after the public comment period will be review of the options and public comments by the Parks and Recreation Commission in October.
