UPDATE due to rain in the forecast:
Jackson County has given the City dates when the final stage of the road chip seal process, called fog sealing, will take place. During fog sealing all roads listed below will be closed to traffic for at least two hours and up to five hours starting between 9 and 10 a.m. each day. Please be patient and plan ahead for delays and detours on the following streets and dates:
Wednesday, August 21 - Glenview Drive and Almond Street (No change in schedule.)
Thursday, August 29 - East Main Street from Lithia Way to Walker Avenue, Tolman Creek Road from Siskiyou Blvd to Highway 66, and Ashland St. from Guthrie Street to Roca Street. (This work will non be done on August 22 as originally scheduled, it will now be completed on August 29.)
There will be no parking on any of the roads during the fog seal application and no vehicle traffic will be allowed. Residents on the roads that we are working on have been notified.
