Utility Customer Service
Utility Services
The City of Ashland provides electricity, water, and sewer to all Ashland households. All services are included in one monthly billing statement. Ashland customers may also sign up for City internet service through Ashland Fiber Network (AFN). If you select AFN as your internet provider, this service will be included in the same monthly billing statement as the rest of your City utilities. (Learn about AFN.)

Need assistance with your bill, or have questions?
- The fastest way to receive a response is to email the Utility Customer Service staff.
In-person assistance is also available at the following times and locations:
- Utility billing customer service at 2245 Ashland St, Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Don't have access to email or you service has been shut off?
- Please call 541-488-6004, follow the prompts, press the number for applicable situation and someone will contact you in a timely manner.
Pay Your Monthly Bill
Options to pay your bill include:
- Pay your bill online:
- Log into your account and make a payment
- First time logging in? Create an account and make a payment
- Make a payment at the City Utilities Kiosk (credit card, check, or exact cash accepted - you will need your account number and customer ID or your most recent bill)
- Drop it at the payment drop box at the corner of City Hall, 20 E Main St in Ashland
- Drop it at the white payment drop box on the Plaza in downtown Ashland (drop box is adjacent to the mailbox on the Plaza)
- Drop it at the white payment drop box near the Police Station at 1175 E Main St
- Pay by phone at 541-488-6004. You will need your account number and your customer number. Press option one
- Mail your payment to:

Payment Plan and Low-Income Assistance
Are you behind on payments and need assistance? Complete an online form and start the process of setting up a Payment Plan - apply today!
Assistance for low-income customers is also available through the Ashland Low Income Discount Program.

Average Your Monthly Bill
Would you like to pay an average amount each month for your utility bill? The City of Ashland offers the Equal Payment Program to divide the total cost of utilities used each year into 12 equal monthly payments.

- Interim Billing Authorization to bill landlords for periods their rental units are not occupied
- If you have concerns regarding notice of utilities termination or would like to learn more about delinquent utility accounts, view Ashland Municipal Code Chapter 14.02.
