2. Ashland Municipal Code (AMC) Chapter 13.02.040 states that no person may occupy or encroach upon a public right-of-way without permission of the City in the form of a franchise, license or permit. The City Manager has authorized the Public Works Administration Department to issue Residential Block Party Permits on the City’s behalf.

    2. Site Plan showing cross streets, areas of closure, maintained emergency lane, and traffic control plan including location and type of MUTCD approved barricades and closure signs (only MUTCD approved barricades and road closure signs will be used. Failure to use MUTCD approved barricades and closure signs will result in revocation of permit.).
    3. All affected neighbors have been notified.
    4. All trash will be picked up by the end of the closure time.
    5. A 20-foot emergency access lane will be maintained at all times during the block party.
