Rentals
Ashland Parks & Recreation offers a variety of park and indoor spaces available to rent for private events, including weddings, receptions, meetings, picnics, and family gatherings.
A reservation and use permit is required for all outdoor events, including (but not limited to) walkathons, concerts, festivals, and weddings. Some events may also require formal approval from Parks & Recreation or the City of Ashland before they can be scheduled.
Planning an event that’s open to the public?
Events that invite public attendance, involve vendors, amplified sound, road closures, or larger impacts on park use require a Special Event Application and additional review. This process helps ensure public safety, accessibility, and appropriate coordination with city services.
Learn more about special events and application requirements.
To reserve a facility or outdoor space, email the APRD Office or call 541-488-5340. Please book at least 10 business days ahead of your reservation. Depending on the location and/or type of event, some renters are required to procure liability insurance. Special Event Applications must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the event.
