North Mountain Park offers a variety of sporting and recreational opportunities. The park features:

  • One field dedicated to baseball.NMtn_15_th

  • One field dedicated to softball.

  • Two soccer fields.

  • One multi-use field, adaptable for softball, soccer, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, flag football, and more.

Our Soccer fields are sand-based and meticulously maintained by Ashland Parks and Recreation (APR) staff.

Hunter Park features:

  • Two fields for little league or softball.

  • Eight tennis courts, including Court 5, a multi-use court supporting bike polo, futsal, and other recreational opportunities.

The fields are maintained by APR staff. The tennis courts are available for tournaments as well as regular practice for tennis clubs.

Seasonal Availability

Fields are available for reservation during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. They are closed for reservations during the Winter (November 1 through mid-to-late February) to allow time for aeration, regrowth, and reseeding.

  • Summer Season (June 1 - July 31): Only baseball and softball fields are available for reservations to ensure recovery from the busy Spring season.

Reservation Policy

To accommodate a wide range of leagues and organizations, we reserve fields one season at a time. This approach ensures fair access and the best possible playing conditions for everyone. 

Note: Field Use Fees have been updated, and are in effect starting July 1st, 2025.
